The Parks Committee evaluates the parks and linear trails in Honeoye Falls to better determine future development and enhancement. The committee makes recommendations to the Village Board as to actions or considerations it determines necessary to enhance and develop the Village parks and linear trails in an effort to better serve the community at large and be of greater benefit to the Honeoye Falls Community in the future.
A new playground (above left) was dedicated at Rotary Park in June, 2009 in partnership with the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Rotary Club.
The pavilion (above right) was erected in spring/summer of 2007, also in partnership with the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Rotary Club.
Rotary Park, formerly North Main Street Park, also houses new bathrooms, improved soccer fields, enlarged parking area, a reflecting garden, and power was added to the park.
Monroe Street Park, pictured above, will see several improvements in the coming years. Restrooms have now been added. Future improvements may include a playground, improved parking, and more.
